• This honey gift box contains one 240g jar of delicious pure Irish honey from our Dublin beehives, one piece of mouthwatering, award-winning pure cutcomb Irish honey straight from our beehives in Dublin, one wooden honey dipper and one handmade pure Irish beeswax candle, all presented in a beautiful Kraft ribbed gift box with co-ordinating ribbon and wooden bee decoration.
• This highly sought-after pure Irish cutcomb honey is hand-cut directly from the honey frames of the beehives in our apiary in Killester, Dublin, Ireland.
• Cutcomb honey is often called the ‘filet’ of honey as it is the most natural form of honey you can find. The pieces of comb honey are cut directly from the frames of honey and placed directly into its packaging with no additional processing.
• A single cell of honeycomb is filled with the concentrated nectar of thousands of flowers and pollen, enzymes, vitamins, propolis, amino acids, antioxidants and minerals. It is the healthiest and most natural form of honey available. The wax cells of the honeycomb are not only 100% edible but very beneficial and a delicacy of nature straight from the source.

Did you know?

Irish honey, especially multi-floral honeys produced by urban bees have a greater level of antioxidant phenolic compounds than their rural counterparts, a finding possibly due to the flower diversity and abundance surrounding hives.

Irish research found a similar overall presence of powerful antioxidants called phenolic compounds in Irish heather honey as has been found in manuka honey.
