This is a 240g jar of our pure Irish ivy honey from our December harvest.

Ivy honey is a special late-season honey from the autumn-flowering common ivy, known for its strong, herbal almost medicinal flavour and creamy texture.

Its use as a traditional remedy for coughs and respiratory issues is well documented.

It is rich in pollen and compounds such as  hederacoside C and saponins, it is highly valued for soothing sore throats, coughs, and respiratory issues.

Our Irish ivy honey is raw, unheated and has a beautiful attractive aroma.

This is raw honey, direct from our beehives in Dublin, churned to a creamy texture to facilitate use.

• Pure honey may crystallize or granulate after time. This is a natural occurrence and in fact a proof that it is indeed pure unadulterated honey. You can gently heat it to return it to its liquid state.
